Last night was a great game for a multitude of reasons: we won in a really, really hard arena to win in, Joel Embiid hit a game winner with 6 seconds left, and for the first time since our blockbuster trade for James Harden nearly a year ago, we got 30+ points from Embiid and Harden each. I’m frankly shocked it took this long, though we’ve had many close calls in that time. If this year has proven anything, it’s that Harden is far from washed, as many hot take artists claimed he was during the offseason, and I’m going to love watching Harden and Embiid in next month’s All-Star Game.
