Despite not playing Ben Simmons against us, the Nets offense has been horrible as they’ve lost two straight to begin their series against us. Embiid has been stellar as usual, playing like the MVP we all know he is, and while former Net James Harden played great in Game 1, he had quite a stinker in Game 2, with just 8 points on 3-13 shooting with 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Thankfully, Tyrese Maxey more than made up for Harden’s struggles, scoring 33 to help power us to victory last night. I think we’ll win this series in four or five games, as Brooklyn simply lacks the star power to compete with us after trading Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant this year. I see another rebuild in their near future, but at least they didn’t do something idiotic like trade multiple future firsts and swaps for a rental again, right? Right?
