Today, we’re going to be trading with the Dallas Mavericks. Though we didn’t have a shot at Luka or Kyrie, we were able to unload Tobias Harris with a second round pick in exchange for Reggie Bullock, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Maxi Kleber. This is our team now:

This team looks great. I’ll release an extra player and sign another one during in-season free agency to improve our bench.
Now that’s what I’m talking about! We finished with 58 wins, the most in the league. This is our best shot at winning a championship since our trade with Atlanta. I feel it!
We end up in the Finals with the team we traded with. This should be fun. Since I was too excited to mention it before, we had the top offense in the league and the ninth best defense. A top ten defense with this roster after our last couple sims is nothing to scoff at. I’m feeling it. The Mavs Big Three of Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and Tobias Harris can’t stop us.
We destroy Dallas in Game 1. Embiid scores 34 points while Luka can only muster 24 and Tobias, despite getting the second-most minutes due to Kyrie leaving early with an injury, only scores 9. They somehow upset us in Game 2. Luka had 29/9/10 while Kyrie had 25/4/9. We’re still good, though. Dallas wins games 3 and 4, so we’re less good. We win Game 5 but get blown out in Game 6, ending our season to a team with 12 fewer wins. The trade was technically good for us based on the results of the season, but it sure doesn’t feel that way.
