We’re giving up a lot, but it’s worth it for Kawhi. After doing the trade, this is our team:

A team so good that Kawhi Leonard is our fourth option played as great as expected, with the top offense in the league and the 14th best defense. Boston being their usual selves and Indiana popping off hurt our chances at a top 2 seed, but we still have the talent to win it all.
We went down 3-1 to the Knicks, but we won the next two games to force a Game 7, and BBall Paul did BBall Paul things:
Paul Reed made a game-winning basket with 3.5 seconds remaining in a 117-115 win over the Knicks, winning the 1st round of the playoffs 4-3.

Indiana got clowned on in five games by Toronto, so we got an easier second-round matchup than expected, which we took advantage of by sweeping the Raptors. We then beat Boston in an incredible seven-game series:
What I would give to see us blow out Boston on their home floor in a real Game 7.
We get swept by Memphis, but we won the series we needed to, so the trade was a success.
