Today, we’ll be trading with the Los Angeles Lakers. This is the trade we end up doing:
Lakers: trade LeBron James and Dennis Schröder
76ers: trade Tobias Harris, Furkan Korkmaz, Jalen McDaniels, De’Anthony Melton, Paul Reed, P.J. Tucker, a 2024 1st round pick, a 2026 1st round pick, a 2028 1st round pick, and a 2030 2nd round pick.
That was a lot for one player, but that player is also LeBron James.

We finish with the second best offense but just the 24th best defense, which is understandable considering how old the team is. We still get the 2nd seed in the East, though. We sweep Orlando in the first round and Boston in the second round. New York somehow beats us in the conference finals, where they then get swept by Memphis. Since we reached the conference finals and beat Boston in the process, I consider this trade a success.
