After three months and lots and lots of heartbreak, I’m finally wrapping this thing up. We’re going to trade with the Washington Wizards, who due to being a complete disaster, has nothing that would match the value we’d be giving up with Tobias Harris, outside of the money we would save by not paying him the final year of his contract. We eventually settle on Harris and two second round draft picks for Danilo Gallinari, Landry Shamet, and Delon Wright. Basically, a whole bunch of nothing.

This is our team at the start of next season:

We still look good thanks to Embiid improving and McDaniels and McClung having huge leaps.

Here are our season results:

We finished with the second best offense and the 13th best defense in the league, tying Milwaukee for the best record in the East but losing the tiebreaker to them.

We then lose to Atlanta in seven games.

As the 2 seed.

Memphis goes on to beat Milwaukee in the Finals, and it turns out to be an average sim where the Sixers choke and the Grizzlies are overpowered. I’m happy I no longer have to do these, especially with football season coming up, but I’ll be doing a recap of everything that has happened in this series of blog posts first so I can determine once and for all what the perfect Tobias Harris trade would be for us. See you then!
