After an atrocious start to the season, the Phillies are .500 after winning eight of their last eleven games. Today they clinched their third straight series victory with a low-scoring win over the Mariners, which followed a comeback win that had us shutting them out after giving up 5 runs in the second inning last night. Overall, we’ve gone 16 straight innings without giving up a run now, which is tremendous. We’re playing our best baseball at the perfect time, as we’ll be heading to Houston tomorrow night in a rematch of last year’s World Series. If we can take the series, it will huge for the team’s confidence, and it will prove to all of our doubters that we aren’t slowing down yet. I have the Phillies taking two out of three against the Astros and coming out of the series with a winning record. I want revenge!
