Today, we’ll be trading with the Golden State Warriors. I’ve always wondered what this team would look like with Draymond Green, who is essentially an older, less soft version of Ben Simmons, and that’s exactly what we’re going to see.
I’m not super happy with losing Springer, but I believe the return will be worth it. This is our team now:
This is our team at the start of next season:
Nobody really popped, but I still like this team. Here are our season results:
We finished with the fifth best offense, but despite trading Harris for a former DPOY and another really good defender in GP2, our defense finished 19th. Still, we did enough for the 2 seed in the East, so we should be a conference finals team, right?
Blow it up. If we actually traded for Draymond Green and lost in the first round with him, the only acceptable response would be to trade everybody and start the process over again. I wasn’t expecting a ring. I would have liked a ring, but I definitely expected to do more than losing in the first round to a 38 win team. We were fully healthy. Embiid averaged 42 and 12. I would have given my left nut to see that in any single one of our real playoffs, but despite all that, we lost, and Thugnificent won yet another championship with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Until next time, idk. The Eagles preseason can’t start quickly enough.
