Today, we’ll be trading with the Sacramento Kings. I give them Harris, House, and all of our firsts for Huerter and Barnes.

No, I wasn’t exaggerating when I said all of our firsts. This is a trade I would hate in reality, but since we’re in a magic land where trading your entire future for bench players doesn’t matter, I’m fine with it.

This is what our team looks like at the start of next season:

Maxey looks really good, but the rest of the team does not.

This is how we finish the season:

I’ll take 61 wins any year. Look what we’re capable of when Embiid can actually play a full season. We had the best offense in the league, five points better than the second-best offense, but our defense struggled, ranked 21st. As long as we’re healthy, I believe we can make a deep run, though.

We get the Celtics in the first round and lose to them in five. I knew my euphoria could only last for so long. The seventh seeded Memphis Grizzlies beat the eighth seeded Celtics in the Finals, and despite our stellar regular season results, the trade was a failure. What kind of team gets the best record in the league just to lose their first round series in five games? Who are we, the Bucks?
