I finally got a Sixers prediction right, and most importantly, we swept our back-to-back and it’s all thanks to one man: Joel Hans Embiid. Last night, we played the team with the best record in the NBA a day after our rematch with the Hawks, and Embiid did something no other player has ever done: put up 59 points with 11 rebounds, 8 assists, and 7 blocks. Against the Hawks, he had 42/10/6, and of course, we won both games. I’m not surprised by this, because Embiid has been doing this for years, making us better than we have any right to be. I hate that we have to rely on him going off night after night just to stay .500, but if he can maintain this level of play when Harden comes back, the rest of the league should be terrified, because not even Doc Rivers will be able to keep this team from reaching a Finals.
