Two star-studded teams that have struggled to begin their seasons so far face off tonight, with LeBron James and the Lakers currently 13th in the West and Joel Embiid’s Sixers 8th in the East but on a three-game losing streak. The Lakers could have had an even worse record than the 10-14 record they’re bringing into Wells Fargo Center if Anthony Davis hadn’t gone absolutely berserk for them starting in mid-November, dropping 30+ points and 15+ rebounds seemingly every night and having his two best games of the season to start December. Davis missed the last two games with illness, but he’ll be back tonight, and while I’m sure he’ll give us everything we can handle, our home crowd and a healthier James Harden should be enough to get us the W.
